Star party calendar

Join us for an upcoming star party - an outdoor gathering of astronomy lovers of all levels who look through telescopes, binoculars, or star hop with the naked-eye, while sharing knowledge and stories. We'll have telescopes set up for the public to view the night sky, all ages welcome. You can bring your own telescope to learn or share, but no personal equipment is necessary, just come and enjoy!

Note that certain events require free registration. Schedule is subject to change. Email contact@standleylakestargazing.com with questions, or reach out directly to venue as applicable.

NOTE: Standley Lake Stargazing will not cancel Star Parties except in cases of adverse weather that poses a risk to safety. Cancellation notices will appear on this page.

Summer Sungazing

We’re partnering with the Jefferson County Public Library system for their Summer Reading programs to present Sungazing events where you can safely view the sun through a telescope, viewing sunspots and other features on the sun’s surface up close and personal! Join us for any of these free outdoor events this summer.
