Join Standley Lake Stargazing and the Standley Lake Library for a showing of NASA’s beautiful documentary ‘Cosmic Dawn’ for an in-depth look at decades of work and ingenuity that went into the James Webb Telescope. Special guests Ron Havermann and Aric Vyhmeister of Standley Lake Stargazing, both space industry specialists with decades of combined experience in engineering and manufacturing will add insights and commentary based on their work with similar spacecraft and host an interactive Q&A with visitors.

Follow the telescope from an idea all the way to the launchpad, with never-before-seen footage captured by the Webb film crew offering intimate access to the challenges and triumphs along the way.
